The SFX elevator is designed specifically for this project and able to meet various functions such as lifting, tilting, etc. and simulate a “free fall” experience for the visitors.
Below is a brief explanation of some functions:
This elevator is mainly used for carrying people for lift up and down, allowing visitors to experience reaching each floor of the performance scene through the its movement, and open/close the opposite door at each floor to allow visitors to reach different scene.
The inner and outer of the elevator are fixed together through elastic components and steel wire ropes. The inner can rise to a certain height while the entire steel frame is lifted, then achieve tilt and quick descend function through electrical control of the reel on both sides as if free falling happens.
By combining the sound, light, and electrical equipment distributed in the elevator and the entire space, the real effect of seeking escape in a closed space can be achieved.
